What's a control solution? I've saw it on a thred on here. I'm new to this my 5 year old was diagnosed a week ago.

Hi there, Welcome 
It is a liquid that comes in a small bottle for you to use instead of blood to test your meter. Each vial of strips has a range printed on it and when using the solution the meter should produce a reading within that range. This is usually done if you suspect that the readings on the meter are not correct.
