I just wanted to know even though my diabetes is controlled really well is it still normal to experience tiredness near enough everyday?

I certainly feel it every day! Obviously varying degrees and much worse when sugars are a little off but yes definitely you arent alone with the tiredness

I think so, for me anyway. Honestly can't remember the last time I didn't feel totally and utterly shattered.

Hi and welcome to the forum @Barrycastle2381

We can all get tired, but if you are suffering from extreme tiredness on a daily basis then it's worth mentioning to your Dr, some conditions like Anaemia & a Underactice Thyroid can lead to tiredness symptoms.

Thank you i have spoken to my dr and they say i shouldn't be feeling tired but it looks like its normal with diabetes i do have an underactive thyroid so that also doesn't help

Hi @Barrycastle2381 yes me too, type 1 and under active thyroid, I tend to be flaked by 6pm, exercise helps and fresh air. As long as all your levels are ok and have been checked

Thank you very much it's horrible isn't it luckily I've got dogs so am out walking most days but can't work as i just feel so exhausted it's very frustrating
