convert mg to ml or vice versa

Can one of you whiz kids tell me how to convert mg to ml. I want to work out for example how many mls there would be in a 1000 mg cod liver oil capsule.

If I am interpreting it correctly then 1000mg\100=10ml. If this is correct then I prefer to take one cod liver oil capsule rather than 10 ml (2tsp).

I'm not sure that a conversion is possible. One is a measure of weight while the other is a measure of volume.

I did post a conversion on the old forum for linseed oil,based on SG,if I remember correctly.It seemed that you would have to swallow a fair few capsules ( expensive ) to get the equivalent if taken by the spoonful. :wink:
