converting daily readings to HbA1c

I'm sure I saw something on here where someone actually converted their daily readings to estimate an HbA1c. Can you either direct me to that post or tell me how to do it so that I can see how I'm doing.

My last HbA1c was 7% (down from 7.7% 3 months pereviously) I want it considerably lower.

Thanks

That was exactly what I wanted, thanks Sandy. It is now in my favorites.

And I just did a quick conversion

7% = 8.166mmol :o :o

And that is regarded as "satisfactory"?  What planet are they on?

After just over a week of testing I have seen my 7 day average blood glocose fall to 6.9mmol from my inital daily average of 7.4mmol from teh first couple of days. My current 7 day average corresponds to 6%, but I want it below 6%. I want to join the 5% club.

Hi
I have just been on "ask the expert forum".
There is a new change in the way Hb1Ac is given, it is in mmol/mol.
for eg 7% = 53mmol/mol. We now need a converter to milimol /Litre.
