To convert 5.5 mmol/l to American mg/dl, multiply by 18, or multiply by 9( because we know the 9X table and double. The answer then is 90.9 or near enough 91.
To convert American to Our numbers halve and divide by 9, in other words divide by 18. So 85 ( Bernsteins ideal BG number) is 4.72... To convert Kg to pounds, multiply by 2 and add 10%.
alternatively use the calculator on your mobile phone
Hope this helps
HbA1c values are percentages and don't need to be converted.
Insulin units are the same too.
Did you know that metric units are the only ones legally recognised in the USA? they don't often use them though, except such as mg/dl
