Cooking with Diabetes.

I have downloaded the 365 recipe cookbook and lots of the recipes require AGAVE NECTAR.......... what is this and where can I purchase it. Also TRIPLE ZERO SWEETENER??

Agave is available from health food shops but be aware its very high in fructose - I bought some but then read up about it, so cobbed it in the bin

I seem to recall its derived from cactus (but may be wrong) and has the consistency of a dark honey

Perhaps you can substitute Stevia for it if needed

Sweet freedom I use sometimes , depends what you eat and what diet you are trying ..kat

Fructose is not a good for anyone let alone diabetics; avoid it and use sweeteners.
