I just found out today that if you have a Bayer contour meter, you can register it on their web site and get loads of free stuff for it!
You can get the equivalent of a mobile phone sticker set to customize your meter in some really cool designs (especially good for kids), free batteries, control soloution, a cable to connect your meter to a pc/laptop and the glucofacts software that does some fantastic things ,(i.e. you can email your months glucose levels, averages and emerging trends etc to your specialist before an appointment and you dont have to fill in a diary anymore, the meter just zaps all your readings etc across to the pc!)
I'm sure theres more stuff to enjoy and if you register your meter just now, you can claim a free designer pink case to keep your meter and lancets ect in.
