has anyone else tried this low carb lager coors light. i had 2 cans the other night and dropped to 4.7 within a hour. i thought abuse time so out came the mrs galaxy caramel but 1 2 3 hours testing after and i never went above 6 or below 5. this morning i awoke on 5.1 normall morning bgs. So i guess a couple of cans with some carb for dinner ie potato for a change will let me get some more carbs in at the weekend 8)

I've quite like coors light, tried it a couple of years ago before having diabetes when it was on offer.
Had some the other day and it didn't seem to affect me as much as other lagers.
From personal experience most local ' micro brewery' lagers and fosters make my BG rise massively.
Becks, Carling - a medium rise.
Coors - not much of a rise.

All about experimentation!

Hi
have to agree 4 pints Fosters big rise 4 Pints carling no change. Always thought Fosters didn't agree with me even before being diagnosed T2. have to give Coors a try.

Really? You guys think that different brands of lager effect you differently? I've never even given this a thought. I think I'll have to do some testing...

Thanks for the heads up!
