"Would anyone know if you've had the pneumonia vaccination, will this protect you against getting pneumonia as a complication of coronavirus?"
No a virologist on TV a few days back said it would not and several other medical experts have said the same.
This virus acts on the lungs in a different way in in a different are of the lungs than seasonal flu does
Not withstanding that I hope they are wrong and that it does.
Recently another "expert" has said though the pneumonia vaccination was thought to give lifetime protection one jab and that's it, it could be that people may have to have the jab every five years to give protection.
