I'm not trying to be alarmist here (just a thought), but I did wonder about ensuring hands are clean before the finger prick on BG meter readings with the current Coronavirus issue. I do wash my hands regularly but not always before finger prick. It's the touching of the face area that can allow the virus to get into the body, but equally maybe doing a blood test might also? I'm not paranoid about this but just a thought.

Are you suggesting I might not be diabetic then :)
On the internet you may be anything- LOL! But seriously, what is the point of taking a measurement if you know it may be even less accurate than the current +/- 15% that is allowed for the test meters/strips ?

Well sometimes when I've had a long day at the Tate & Lyle sugar factory, I just don't get a chance to wash my hands. :)

On another note though... my local Boots chemist said she can't get hold of Contour Plus test strips at the moment and to try another chemist chain. Hmmm..
