could i have diabetes

i have been having similar symptoms on and off for over 18 months now, and been tested for diabetese twice both times negative.

Now i feel the same again sore eyes(blurred and sensitive to light also) going to toilet frequently very itchy on my gentials and above(pubic hair) sore sole of my foot,always tired (even yawning when getting up) dull pain in groin area on and off, sore stomachs feel sick,constant pinsand needles in handsand feet etc

Could this be diabetes need this sorted as getting me down the doctors never finding out whats wrong with me
 
Hi! Couldn't say for certain as I'm not qualified although there are a few red flag symptoms you have reported that may indicate diabetes-the problem is that a fasted blood test does not show the big picture and it's possible to slip the net...If I was you I would make another appointment,highlighting your symptoms and ask for a HbA1c blood test which shows a 3 month average of blood glucose readings.

Some of your symptoms could be diabetes but others not. Sore eyes or sole, dull groin pain, sore stomach and feeling sick are not common diabetes symptoms but obviously need to discussed with the GP. As Paul says, an HBa1C would be the best test for db if the GP is willing to get it done.
