Type 1 Covid-19 high risk

I’m sure this has been asked before, but I couldn’t find a post that answered the question. Seeing as in the uk and other countries the coronavirus is now starting to peak should us diabetics and others with medical conditions be thinking about stopping work for a few weeks? Or are we just expected to work it out? And if we are entitled to time off etc are we entitled to any sick pay, and what do we tell our employer?

I am waiting to hear if we have to self isolate, if told, then I will certainly do it.

I thought that those with underlying medical conditions were "high risk"? I think the PM or one of his aides in this afternoon's press conference, said it referred to those who are normally advised to have a flu jab - ie those with diabetes, asthma etc
