How long after Covid recovery did it take for your blood sugars to go back to what they were pre Covid? I’m in week three post positive test and still needing to take two units ( normally 6), more of long acting a day and a couple of units extra to correct after meals, even though I’m eating less than 30g carbs per meal. I know I’m still not exercising as much as I was pre Covid so maybe that’s part of the problem too?

Sounds like I'm working to the same time scale as you (first symptoms 1 december) and though I knocked back quite a bit of extra bolus at the start and am still on probably about 10% extra basal I'm mostly back to normal now. But I'm still a little fatigued so have no idea whether extra insulin is a function of the fatigue or the residual covid?

Personally I am just playing it by ear, trying not to overdo things, and letting the insulin do what it wants to do. But my insulin needs are quite variable anyway, so it's hard to distinguish between covid and normal life.

Good luck.
