Has anyone else experienced having blood sugars dropping all night after having the booster jab.

I actually took way less NovoRapid than I normally would for a consistent meal I eat and ended up consuming quite some extra fast acting carbs to correct the lows.

Back to normal now so can only put it down to the vaccine.

I haven't had this year's booster, yet, but all previous boosters did affect my blood glucose. Which make were you given Astra Zeneca, Pfizer or Moderna?

I had plummeting BG after my first jab.
I had expected a rise like I bet with the flu jab so had increased my basal in prep which exaggerated the problem.
I knew what to expect for future jabs so was ready.
Last year, I had both flu and covid at the same time (in the same arm) then flew out to US for a conference the next day. There was enough stress going on to counteract the covid plummet.

Pfizer was the culprit, alls ok now but last night was quite the challenge, would be nice to know before hand, no doubt somewhere in the depths of the small print is a warning.

The problem is that different people have different reactions.
You will see more threads about higher BG after covid jabs.
It is one of those things that we have to look after ourselves and learn as we go along.
