Type 1 Covid vaccine (poorly)

I had the AstraZeneca vaccine on Friday and I’m still getting symptoms now they have got better but I can’t get rid of the fever ! Everyone else I’ve spoken to said they’re symptoms went about 48 hours after having it but I’m now 5 days in and still having them also my levels have been very high ! I’m wondering if I need to contact my Gp or if I should just wait it out

I work in a school so get tested twice a week so I know it’s not that

That's good then! Yeah I'd get in touch with the GP then as you may have some other sort of infection brewing, no harm in contacting them xx

I was given a leaflet with my jab which explains side effects and what to do if they hang around.

I do it does say they can stay for up to 7 days but I just had not seen anyone else that had been poorly for as long as me so was getting nervous

You don't say how old you are but younger people tend to have worse side effects than the old. This article may be of interest.
