I'm type 1 for over 40 years. First time I had COVID was last year around this time. Just found I have it again. My blood sugar's are crazy again. Any one else? How to stop these huge spikes?

Hi @A17 and welcome to the forums.

Have your team given you sick day rules for adjusting your insulin? And do you have access to ketone testing strips to check for ketones.?

What type of diabetes do you have, what medication are you on?
How high are you spiking?

I am type 1 and have covid at the moment and my bs are going crazy

I've just got over COVID again. last month. My bloods again won't settle, all over the place. Found last time it took about 6 months for me.

I’m the same? Had it mid March. Hba1c really horribly up ( 8.4 ) and go hypo most mornings x
