Sorry, also testing at the 2 hour mark is NOT too early. This gives a good indication if correct TIMING and dose of insulin is correct. The aim is to be 7~8.5 at the 2 hour mark. Testing only pre~meal and not detecting high spikes that may be occurring regularly is simply ignorance and wil eventually cause complications in the long term
