wanna thank y'all for help i just tried bit of toast as per diabetic ward sister instructions and didn't go so well barely swallow one tiny piece its so frustrating i then was sick been told to get emergancy appointment with gp on Tuesday and was advised against goin to hospital with mental health issues and cause they have no beds could be sat in waitin room for days which they concerned about how Id react what am i supposed to do i asked make sure keep fluids up close eye on blood sugar and only take apidra when eatin

Morning Monkeygirl,any chance you could get some complete meal shakes and try those? But from what you have told us already ...i think you need to see a doctor at the very least and preferably one who is up to speed with diabetes,clive
 
hey all well I'm still up in A&E losin my patience due to lack of people tellin *** is going on then sum jumped up lectures me bout diabetic control alright but any need make me feel like scum I constantly struggle every day just to get outta bed I have ptsd and bipolar and diablimea and wouldn't be up hospital unless had to then got told i was fat and that why I in this mess
 
well Clive they took more blood and had some blood taken for acid/gas chest xray bag of fluids so have bruises on top of bruises the doctor such a shocking bedside manner but I did self care took my own insulin even forced myself to eat so lest let me home and suppose to be honest scared the fluff outta me so rethink time how to let diabetes stop controlling my life x
 
Ok i do hope your beginning to come round a bitAre you on the low carb high fat way of controlling bs's? I have found this is the most effective method because it stops excess carbs and protein from turning into glucose,the app my fitness pal is good as it helps to work out our weight/ calorie requirements/ and carb/ protein/ fat ,content of foods we eat,i have now lost 57 lbs and my bs's are now in control and am enjoying life knowing i have my t2 under control.many of our dr's and health care " professionals" are not up to speed with the latest and most effective ways of eating to our meters and it was only finding this forum that i learned what is the best regime Please keep posting and you will get the answers from the wonderful posters on this forum, clive
