CT colon scan

Has anyone had this ....I am afraid i do not want to have this simply because of the diet you have to have the day before and nothing at 4 pm or untill after the scan the next day which is at 9.40 am.... allowed to eat for breakfast 2 white slices of bread tea or coffee no milk.... for lunch two egg size potatoes and 75g of meat then nothing cept fluids....insulin I am afraid will not be able to have :blackeye:making an appointment to see the doc and nurse but shakes head I do not think I want this scan.....
 
It may not be a scan you want,but it is obvious that your medical team think that you do. The preparation is a little tiresome but at least you'll have peace of mind, one way or the other when the results are through.
Don't worry about it - it is part of life.
 
well Iron levels were a little under so they taken me off metformin a month a go ...blood tests on the 12the and if they are ok they will be told I do not want the scan arghhhhh
 
well been to the doctors this eve and even though they taken me off Metfomin a month ago the iron levels still dropping .....so maybe go back onto metformin on Monday after seeing the Nurse.... I have asked if can come off Insulin at eve meal the Nurse will sort Monday when I see her.... the Doctor has given me some iron tablets but not to take them until after the 30th of March when I have the CT scan....sighs :banghead: they sure are giving me an MOT I shall be glad when its all done :arghh:
