ok not sure where to ask this question
I had a very minor nosebleed this morning and my question is would the blood from that be any good for testing for my blood sugar? By the time I'd got to my meter and sticks it had stopped and I didn't fancy sticking a strip up my snozle anyway

Hi Jan.
I see no reason why you could not use it to get a glucose reading,
The main thing it should be fresh to be able to test.
I have tested my blood taken from my arm( for a Glucose test add HbA1c, test ) to see how accurate my meter was reading ( 6 % High).
Meters can be out by up to 15% so are not accurate

Next time I cut or stab (I do a lot of craft work not into self harming) I will try this out
