This morning I had my latest Diabetic appointment to monitor my progress. I was told I was doing brilliantly ....... and that they did not need to see me unless I had a problem.
I was grudgingly allowed one last prescription for test strips, and told that my allowance would now be a maximum of 50 every six months. I was given a blood test form so I could initiate my next HbA1c test (at the end of November please). No I did not need to have an appointment for the results - they would contact me if they needed to see me. Okay, if I insisted I could get a copy of the results from the reception for my records.
Lol. I'm laughing at the severity of it all but seriously, wanted everyone here to know how grateful I am to have found a place here where I can cope with this condition in a positive manner.
