I don't know much, but it can be used with DIY looping systems such as AndroidAPS which might be interesting for you at some stage.

I’m currently using it with a Dexcom g6 in a closed loop system. And a prototype app that’s in Alfa development in part with Cambridge university.

So far so good. I’m on day 3 of 20. It’s alerted me of a low blood sugar at 3am which could of been fatal if I didn’t have this set up on.
