Hi everybody. Just thought I would let everybody know that I went on a DAFNE course 2 months ago because I was having lots of hypos and wasn't controlling my diabetes at all.
My BG are in single figures now and are consistent and have only had 5 hypos in 2 months compared with 3 hypos a week previously. I have been diagnosed as type 1 for 12 months and type 2 for 9 months.
I think that if I had gone on the course just after I had been diagnosed as type 1 it would have been too much information and I wouldn't have got as much out of it. Plus my HbA1c was 7.5 which I am well chuffed with as previously it was 11.
I have got a lot of information and support on here off lots of wonderful people and would like to say thanks to everybody. LOL
