after much uumming and aaarrrring i decided in november to get booked on to a dafne coarse which i start on monday, although i have alway carb counted i thought i'd give it a go in the hope for better control and understanding although been t1 for over a year like alot of people it sometimes feels like a little knowledge is a dangerous thing so the more i know can only be a good thing. i already do a reduced carb type of diet and i know the coarse is all about eating what you want but made me smile when told the menu for the week at the screening appointment, sandwiches jacket potatos ect ect :lol: any way i'll go with the flow see how it go's i've learnt alot off here and by trial and error myself, the other thing of coarse is actually meeting other people with t1 (wow there really are other ppl out there t1? lol).
