Type 1 DAFNE programme

Hi just quick question.... I've got a place for DAFNE programme which lasts for a week 9 to 5..... They sent me a letter to give to employer asking for paid leave... Has anyone's employer refused this??? Thanks

No, I had paid leave as did everyone else in employment on my DAFNE course.

Are you concerned your employer not granting the leave @donnabashford1979 ? Have you given them the letter, that seems like the first step before worrying about leave not being granted.

Hi @donnabashford1979 . I had no problems with my employer saying that it is a great place to work and they are very understanding.
If they do raise any concerns explain the course will give you better control of your diabetes and ultimately make you a better person and employee. Who doesn't want a better employee?
