Through reading a lot of press articles over the years, I came to the conclusion that taking a 70 mg daily aspirin was on the balance of risks a good idea.
The pharmacist at Sainsbury in Coventry, however, bluntly refused to sell me any. I then picked up four packets of 28 aspirins two metres to her right and paid for them at the main till.
How can Sainsbury place on its shelves medicines that its pharmacists refuse to sell?
