A new thread maybe - mine is two squares of 85% chocolate and strawberries or raspberries with double cream! BS always around 5.7 to 6.0.

Chicory leaves dipped in hummus! (be careful though, hummus seems to be one of those things people react differently to. I don't need to inject for it, but that doesn't mean your bg won't go up from it)

If you have it every day, is it a treat?
If it is then I normally have a couple of squares of Lindt 85% chocolate with my mid-morning coffee. I have just started a Lindt Advent calendar, I am an atheist but I am making an exception

Love an empire biscuit but daily’s a bit to much

My daily treat at the moment is putting my feet up and watching a cheesy Christmas film on Christmas 24 in the afternoon - not all treats have to be food

I felt like a treat right now and ended up with this
Off topic semantics question from a Dutchie (or maybe not just semantics but one of those existential late night wonderings as well) : Is this right or did I just say I had the feeling I AM something like an olive, a bag of crisps or a cupcake?

Strictly speaking it could be understood like that but only an idiot would do so in that context.
PS: Good evening cupcake.

A little bag of Metcalfes skinny popcorn (6.1g carbs). The problem is they come in multipacks....

Other skinny popcorns are available..

I usually either have a Cadbury's Highlights hot chocolate (4g carbs) with cream or two squares of Lindt 90%. At the moment my daily treat is my Milkybar advent calendar at 1.9g carbs per piece - white chocolate is my favourite and deeply missed so I am appreciating it very much.

2 squares of 85% chocolate, Greens & Blacks is currently my favorite

Anything I eat every day must be considered as an essential part of my diet, and so is most certainly not a treat and that includes my daily piece(s) of Lindt 85% dark chocolate. That leaves me room for any (extra) intermittent treats without any need for potential guilty feelings.

My LIndt Advent calendar similarly gets treated as essential part of my specific dietary requirements for December...

My Baileys truffles advent calendar is my daily treat at the moment.

There's a miniature bottle of Baileys on Christmas Eve!

Sounds really yummy - Baileys used to be my favourite Christmas drink!

A chunk of dark chocolate when I take my apple cider vinegar at night ... it's my reward for swallowing something vile ... shades of childhood
