Hello, you have my sympathy with Dap. A cautionary tale. Nearly three years ago I was prescribed Dap as a new 'wonder 'drug. I was told I would be monitored with blood tests every three months. This didn't happen. Two years ago I had the same symptoms as yourself, but they got much worse with a sudden painful swelling between my legs in personal area. Son took me to A&E, they took one look at my swollen area and said we must operate today. It seems that Dap, which is meant to extract glucose through my pee wasn't working and it was being stored in me. The 'bugs' we all have inside us were feeding on this build up. I had contracted Necrotising Fascillitis, a close relation of sepsis but more deadly. Three more operations, during which they cut out dead flesh in my anal area, plus three weeks in hospital. Then daily visits from Nurses for dressings changes followed for six months. Has healed now, just a scar, that no one sees. Not pleasant experience, has put me off Dap for ever and I would caution anyone to demand regular blood tests to see if they are working properly. Sorry to be a downer .but just be careful with your health.
