Has any used Dapagliflozin I have just been put on them. Just seeing if anyone has any experience with this new drug?

I was put on it about 8 months ago, maybe longer.

I've got nothing but good things to say about it. My levels went from 15 to to about 7 over night and was losing about 1lbs a day, steadily without even trying. No side effects either.

My only problem with it, is that it made me feel weird when I drank alcohol, so I stopped taking it at weekends, so I could drink. Now, although my levels seemed okay doing this, I stopped losing weight!

As of the start of Feb, I've stopped drinking and evening is back on track. I've lost 8lbs already.

Btw, I'm on slow release Metformin.

Hi Chris,
I was put on it at the end of Dec but at the same time I started back on my Weightwatchers eating plan. My BG readings went down from about 16 to 4-6 and the highest I have been since then was 9.2 and I know the reason for that. I have also lost 12 lbs :D but cannot say if its the Dapagliflozin or WW that is responsible. I have had no obvious side effects :) Hope it works for you.

I have been on Dapagliflazon for about 5 months.side effects, Increased thirst, peeing much more, after about 2 months I noticed indigestion, headaches light headiness, weariness, lack of energy. I have stopped taking it to judge it's effects, after about a week they seemed to subside. I then started again after taking two these symptoms returned. I have stopped again. I have done some research on the Blood sugar 101 website which is American were it advises "do not to take this drug", give it 5 years, more alarmingly it has not been licensed by the American F.D.A.
