Dario - A proper review

I just collected my first Dario test strips from my pharmacy who ordered them in for me. They cost the same for me as my freestyle lite ones at $16.50 for a 100 strips (that's with the discount). I just did my first test using Dario earlier and have to say I'm impressed. I mostly like the idea that it records your readings without you having to enter them yourself. It gives you the option to enter extra information though such as insulin dosage, etc. Love it. ps. I finally figured out the test strips storage too. Turns out I'd left the cardboard in which was confusing me. lol

well call me stupid... but I've been wondering why my Dario keeps telling me that the majority of my BGL's are out of range when I get a lot of 6.8 - 7.5 readings. I was looking for what range it uses for this and eventually found it finally under "diabetes profile". It was using 3.3 - 6.7 as normal range. Geez I thought normal range is 4 - 8. So I changed the range as for me my endo wants me between 5 - 10, preferably 5 - 8 is ideal but I am on insulin and dealing with multiple health issues so he said just try and aim to keep my BGL's over 5 and under 10. Oh yeh I changed the hypo setting which was below 3.3 to 4.4 which is more like it for me as I start getting hypo symptoms at 4.7 or less usually because I'm dropping very quick.
