For those that use Dario... do you have problems with multiple errors?

Mine has been giving me error after error for the past month and it is beginning to drive me insane. It keeps telling me either it doesn't recognise the device or I have insufficient blood on the test strip. For both errors the device is clearly attached and there is clearly plenty of blood on the test strip. I seem to have to twist the device several times to get it to notice and be ready to take a reading. Then I sometimes go through 3 test strips or so just to do a reading. I know the app was updated in the last 2 weeks so not sure if that had something to do with it?

Am I the only one with this issue? Or do others here have the same problem? I'm beginning to think I'll go back to my trusty freestyle lite meter... but I was lousy with recording the numbers using that.

Frustrated!

If the meter isn't functioning properly, shouldn't you be contacting the manufacturer? The only other thing I'd say is that whilst I was trialling this for the manufacturer, I thought I have a faulty meter, when in fact is was fluff in the headphone socket of my iPhone. Ooops. Could it be worthwhile checking that out?

It sounds like the connection between the devices isn't complete.

Well I've been using it for quite a while and it was working fine. I will check the socket. But my headphones work fine in the same socket so not sure why this is suddenly not working.

It could also be wear on the plug of the device. I don't know how frequently you use your Dario, but it wouldn't take much for a minor difference in electrical signal between the plug and the socket to fluff things up...

that's probably the problem... thanks. :) It's definitely taking it's time to sense the device.

I use it all the time. I'm beginning to think it will be quicker to use my freestyle lite now. I've had that a few years and haven't even replaced the battery in it. I've got a couple of accu-check meters as well but they chew through batteries. I've not had the Dario that long in comparison. I like the stats part of the Dario where it records the readings for you. Shame it's playing up :(

Have you spoken to Dario about your issues?
