Just got a message from my iMac that my version of Office for Mac 2008 won't be supported any longer... oh no..!
I might have to upgrade.. any suggestions as to best version?
I use Google sheets cos it's free. (It's also **** )
I've been using LibreOffice for years, and it's very good, converts all Office formats perfectly. The Excel replacement is better than "real" Excel IMHO and much easier to use, and create fancy charts.
I know some people who use Libre Office ... because it is free. And better than Google.
You can import Word, Excell, etc. files into it without any trouble.
I have not used it on a Mac but it is supposed to work
I have Office Pro on my "mission control" machine, but have other laptops in use too, for, say evening surfing, when I don't want to be in y study, or lugging a machine around. On the other machines, I use Libre Office. It's fine. One of the reasons I stick with Office is Outlook.
