I've been reading some of the threads about low carbing, of which i find very interesting. I've got my first appointment with a dietician on Monday at the diabetic clinic at the MRI. The thing that is starting to worry me is that on my last visit to the chiropodist they gave me some leaflets of what to eat prior to my appointment to help try and get my BS levels down (last HBA1c 6.3, which i know isn't brilliant) and the thing that concerns me is that the vast majority of stuff was things like, wholemeal bread, pasta, rice and lots of spuds  . I thought all the afore mentioned would actually raise my BS levels but,"hey what do I know." :?
As i said i'm not there until Monday but it'll be interesting to see what they say !!!!!!
