Yes! For me, foot to floor is usually about 7.5, it shoots up to 9.5 from the exertion of getting up and dressed, and stays there until about 11am when, as long as I’ve been sitting quietly, it drops like a stone to about 6.5 where it stays for the rest of the day.
I’m not sure for me whether breakfast as such does make a difference. Breakfast (usually 3.5g of carbs) doesn’t spike me but it doesn’t lower either.
I have tried the trick of a small amount of food before even getting up (usually a protein shake, 2g carbs) but it’s never seemed to make much difference either way.
Going to the gym this morning - that was a disaster! 9-10mmol for HOURS (it’s dropped now)
