I'm having real problems not eating carbs.
I get up have a low carb breakfast go to work then have a low carb lunch.
But driving home about 5pm I'm wanting carbs sugar you name it! Any hints tips a new route home away from asda! how to stop this craving! we usually eat 7am, 1pm 7pm But the 5pm sugar addiction is bad!
Or do i just need to suck it up and get on with it?

How long have you been trying this way of eating.. I'm guessing you aren't getting enough satiating fat..
What are you having for meals?

If you usually eat at 7, 13 and 19hrs, has this always been so, or was it different?

I have never snacked, so I'd try to just ride it out, but if you are really struggling you could try taking a modest portion of, say, cheese, or a few nuts to occupy your stomach.

porridge/cereal for breakfast. home made veg soup for lunch veggie burger or pie or fish fingers with rice & lentil mix as you can probably tell i'm mostly veggie usually 90% vegan small dairy usually milk in tea and occasional meat

And to be very honest not very low/no carb.. No wonder you are getting hungry.. your insulin levels must be all over the place.
Porridge/cereal high carb, veg soup probably root veg mainly high carb and rice lentils also high carb.
Do you eat eggs?
If so thats breakfast sorted.. avocado, olives green veg are low carb.
The only real zero carb food is meat and fish so you are a bit hamstrung.

always eaten at these times.
But it does get cravings not just hunger at about 5pm its been like it the past couple of months

I would prepare a delicious, vegetarian, satisfying snack to eat before you leave work.
- effectively cutting your cravings off at the pass, before they strike.

A lump of cheese would do, if you can face it.
Or a handful of nuts.

That should see you over til 7pm.

In the longer term, you could eat more lunch, or shift your macros to up the protein and fat to delay the hunger til later.

I’m sorry to say I don’t think you are eating low carb. Low sugar perhaps but not low carb. And the carbs will have your blood sugars going all over the place and thats why you are still craving them too.

Cereal and oats are terrible for many t2’s. The soup is likely mostly root veg. Rice is pretty bad for most of us and lentils whilst not the worst are a long way from great.

If you’re wanting to stick to close to veganism you are going to have a tough time and will need to be creative. There’s a sub section in here about vegetarian vegan low carb that might help with ideas. Fish will be a huge benefit in getting the protein without carbs. And if you don’t have more fat you’ll probably still be hungry. Lots more above ground leafy veg. Pumpkins and squashes, mushrooms etc Some root veg is better than others eg turnips and swede are much better than any colour potato , parsnips etc . Nuts will help. I’m afraid without dairy I’d be lost. Is pescatarian an option? I guess it depends why you follow veganism.

If you're avoiding meat for health reasons, you may want to revisit that.
