I am a T1 diabetic.

I get shin pain from time to time, the label says that if you have diabetes consult your doctor before use.

I understand this is because it can stop blood flow to the affected area.

Have any T1 diabetics used it and was it any good?

This is the product: http://deepfreeze.co.uk/

I use it sometimes for pain in my knees but I dont think it really helps. (I am also t1)

The reason it says to consult Dr is probably due to if you have neuropathy then you may possibly do yourself damage by using the product as you may not be able to feel how cold it actually is on your skin and end up causing skin damage without realising. If you have completely normal sensation then it shouldn't be an issue, the blood vessels will constrict temporarily but it will wear off as soon as the skin warms up

I have arthritis in the base of my thumbs and the deep freeze gel really helps and literally freezes the pain. I have never used the spray. Perhaps try the gel. Have to agree with @xAoifex.
