If a person has uncontrolled blood sugars is it always an absolute definite you will have complications of some sort?

You forgot the autonomic neuropathy where the internal organs stops functioning.People with diabetes have an increased risk of developing a number of serious health problems. Consistently high blood glucose levels can lead to serious diseases affecting the heart and blood vessels, eyes, kidneys, nerves and teeth. In addition, people with diabetes also have a higher risk of developing infections. In almost all high-income countries, diabetes is a leading cause of cardiovascular disease, blindness, kidney failure, and lower limb amputation.

It's definite I for one wouldn't want to take the risk.If a person has uncontrolled blood sugars is it always an absolute definite you will have complications of some sort?
Are you sure the question wasn't about you, then (at least subconsciously)? If you found LCHF too restrictive, do you maybe still need to try finding other ways of reducing carbs and adjusting diet, boosting exercise etc, to get your blood sugars under control? It doesn't need to be all or nothing -- and 'nothing' is too dangerous an option for diabetics.Although my blood sugars are far from perfect, I've tried the LCFC way and it far to restrictive for me. People on here have tried to help me before.
