Hi i've been diabetic 4/5 years. I was on lantus initially which burned when injecting. I thot this was normal. I changed to levimir for exercise purposes but that was leaving deposits and causing hypos. Been back on lantus now about 2 years and i cant take anymore of the burning every night when injecting it. Starting degludec tonight. Had anyone had any probs with this????

I wsitched to tresiba some months ago and I absolutely love it, as far as love for insulin goes

I have a consultation this afternoon to switch over to Tresiba. I'm really hoping it will stop the burning and also the late afternoon highs. I'll let you know how I get on!

Thats good glad to hear it thank you. I jus thot the burnin was normal for long acting insulin lol x
