Have been diagnosed t2 for 6 months now and have been low carbing/nearly keto ever since and tried a variety of eating patterns led by when I'm hungry, but main meal tends to be about 6pm with the family

Over the past few weeks I have noticed that between 2 and 5 hours after eating of an evening that I start to feel very very full indeed, almost uncomfortable, and it continues to get worse over another 3-4 hours

I don't think I'm overeating as I am losing weight, slower than at first but wieght is still downwards

I've never been one who feels full while eating - hence why I used to overeat, so this feeling of overfullness is new, but its the tardiness of it that is bothering me a bit.

Does anyone have any ideas why I feel so full so long after eating?

(Bowels and digestion work fine)

Hi there - Is there any particular food or sort of food that makes this feel any different? I'm sort of wondering if your system is struggling a bit to digest something you're eating.

I find anything with high fibre does this. Coconut flour and chia seeds are the worst. But cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower does it as well.
I rarely eat apples but they give me a really full feeling a couple of hours after eating as well.

Nothing specific that I've noticed. Maybe meat ? Hope not!!!!
