just been put on tablets metoformin despite a totally vegan diet walking at least 4 miles a day cutting way down on carbs feel like a fauilure
 
Don't feel bad. It can take time for low carbing to kick in and you start seeing results.

You're not failing - you are fighting, making a real effort with diet and exercise. Sometimes our bodies fight against us but hopefully the Metformin will help you get good results. Stay determined and good luck :)

Sorry to read you are feeling down. Taking metformin is not a sign of failure. It is sometimes just the sensible thing to do. Many people take it for a while and can cut down or stop taking it completely so it may not be permanent.
