I have been using Dexcom 6 sensors for the last 18 months and suddenly I am getting alerts for calibration, on a daily basis. How can I stop these requests? I don’t mind calibrating every once in a while, but I draw the line at every day. Has anyone else experienced this and how did you solve it? I read online that this sometimes happens if you don’t leave sufficient time for the sensor code to register but since I’m getting readings as per usual on my phone and reader, I don’t think this is the problem. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

If you don't enter a code when you start the sensor this will happen. Don't know if this applies to you?

Today everything returned to normal! I have no idea what changed but I’m relieved. I was intending to phone Dexcom this morning to ask for their help. I might even still do that in case it ever happens again.

Actually, the very next day the alerts started again so I phoned Dexcom. They told me just to replace the sensor, which I did, and everything went back to normal. Dexcom also sent me a replacement sensor, which seems only right. Anyway, it’s good to know that their Customer Services are understanding and helpful.
