i have had one on trial but after restarting it at 7 day's it now just says ???. The device is still well stuck down and I put tape over it since application. Any ideas please.
though the device was brillaint and accurate during the life and alarms worked well. However I was hoping for longer than this.

I usually get 4-5 weeks. Have you been drinking enough, not doing so can confuse it, or taken paracetamol?

Make sure that the transmitter is locked down on the plastic sensor cradle ok. If one of the grips at the end are not over the grey tags, that will result in ??? . Also, make sure that no water has got under the transmitter in the shower
Sometimes I've found that leaving the Vibe in my bedroom and having a shower in bathroom can make the signal go for a while but usually is ok after reconnecting to pump for a few minutes.

thanks for those replys.
I am on an tablet called bendroflumethiazide which I was told cuts down the fluids in my body (this was supposed to improve my blood pressure). However dexcom worked good for 10 day's.I am now noticing it comes back on occasionally for a few minutes.
I did look at transmitter connection and removed it, cleaned connecting pins then put it back on. It worked for about 30mins after but has failed. I will try drinking more see if it helps. I have been carefull bathing and do not think it got wet Thanks again.

There are contrasting views on the operation of the Dexcom and reduced fluid intake. Some say its rubbish but I have found on most occasions that I get ??? in the first few weeks of a sensor it seems to be due to lack of fluid intake, if I drink a large glass of water it usually recovers quite quickly.

You will get ??? also at the end of the sensors life, I get 3-4 wks out of mine but I do know others (but not many) who get just around 1 wk.

Hi
I have had mine say it runs out in 28 mins, only had it on a week today-now saying sensor expired -CGM session ended??? Is this right?

Yes. That's right, that's how it works . Sensors last 7 days. At the end of 7 days the sensor will just turn off. If it's playing nicely it's up to you to restart the sensor - tell it to start sensor, wait the two hour warm up and enter 2 blood sugar readings. Then it should continue fou another 7 days. But anything beyond the first seven days is just luck.

Thanks for that suggestion. I drank a glass of water after reading your suggestion and then had a cup of tea. 30mins later it was ok. Worked good all day today also.

Thanks all for your help. I drank some water and now everything ok. Been working well today. So far it is accuate usually within 0.3mmol to my blood meter. Hope it continues to function for a while. I like the alarms it does when going low or high as it gives a bit of warning on my Animas pump.
