Dexcom g5 compatibility????

Will Galaxy 8+ work with dexcom g5?

Hi. I have a galaxy 8 plus phone and want to follow my newly diagnosed son will my phone not work at all with the the g5 or will some aspects
 
Your phone doesn't need to work with the G5, it just needs to be compatible with the dexcom follow app. Compatible devices are listed here - https://www.dexcom.com/ous-compatibility-page

To be able to follow, your son will need to be using one of the mobile G5 compatible phones as receiver.
 
Thanks. So will my phone work with the app. Dexcom say no but when I upload the app its says some aspects won't work. Need to decide by tomorrow whether to change my phone. Thanks in advance
