OK, another turn in a different direction, sorry. I have a Blackberry Keyone, supposed to run on Android, so I tested Xdrip+ on that, and it works, nice graphs. Great, only need to carry one phone.

One issue though, I can't get it to send to Diasend where my doctor can see my data. Not critical for me, but since I'm trying to convince him to have the hospital budget pay for the Dexcom cost, I'm sure he won't be as enthusiastic if I don't use the Dexcom sw so he can't see my data. Anybody know about Diasend, with Xdrip+

Your situation here is win win if you sack off Diasend and set up a Nightscout page. You just need to give your DSN the URL and it's as simple as that, free and painless.

Here's mine if you want to see what it's all about:

https://gambo2311.herokuapp.com

If you click the burger icon in the top right, and then on reports, you can see just how detailed and in depth they are. Nightscout is many, many steps ahead of Diasend.

Things have gone slow the last few days, so haven't looked at Nightscout, but I have now used xDrip+ for several days, and it's way better than Dexcom's own SW I must say. Only question is that I have more "holes" in the measurements, but not so much it's a worry. But maybe Dexcom extrapolates old values? Or does the sender not send values for the last 3 hours every time, so if you're away for an hour it'll catch up?
Regardless, very happy with xDrip+ and only having to use one phone. And with a widget no less, I can see my BG on the main screen all the time. Perfect. Thanks for the help.

My experience is that xDrip+ will only display values it has received from the transmitter when it's in range. So, if I nipped out to the shops and forgot my phone, I'd have no data displayed for that given time period.

The Dexcom G5 stores 8 hours of data and can upload it to the app when in range. xDrip+ doesn't yet have this functionality (although I'm sure it will get added eventually), so you need to be in range of the phone in order to have data captured and uploaded.

Does anyone know the DVLA stance on the G5? I know the Libre isn't supported. Is it the same for the other CGMs?
