I'm currently self funding my Dexcom G6 here in the UK. I've just received a Field Safety Notice (FSN) from Dexcom, reporting that they had changed the G6 sensor adhesive in October 2019 and have received some reports of allergic/irritant contact dermatitis associated with the new adhesive. Apparently the notice has been issued in order to help track the extent of this issue. Anyone else receive this? Pragmatically it is a regulatory compliance exercise.
Fortunately so far I have not experienced any significant adhesive reaction (Fingers crossed, as I have suffered contact dermatitis in the past with some surgical dressings). If you are a G6 user having problems with the adhesive, it makes sense to contact the technical support team, even if you haven't had the notice.
