I started using the Dexcom G7 monitor 11 days ago and have found the reporting to my appleWatch very helpful. Last night, I removed the first patch and applied a new one. I got a rejection at first, but pushed on the patch a little and then it seemed to be fine. However, the reporting for the first 8 hours was erratic. In fact, I was awakened around 3am with a low blood sugar alert of 40, so I got up and drank a little orange juice. The data seems to be a little more stable today. Does the monitor sometimes take a few hours to stabilize?

Dexcom is know to be a little erratic in the first 18 hours.. also if you put pressure on it while sleeping that will also cause false lows

Thanks. Very helpful for a new member. My doctor recommended I start using Dexcom G7 to track my levels, so I am watching monitoring the data closely.
