I've recently moved from G6 to G7 and the applicator won't fit through the opening in my sharps bin. I just wanted to ask what size sharps bin to order from GP please?

I use G7 sensors. I dispose of the applicator in my general rubbish. I do this because there is nothing sharp on the applicator. I place actual sensor which is sharp and contains the cannula in my sharps bin.

I put the G7 applicator in a 4 litre sharps bin (it just squeezes through the hole). I get two on prescription and take the full ones back to the chemist. That seems to work well without being too bulky. There is an introducer needle in the applicator so it needs recycling.

Thanks @h884 but my local council wants them put in a sharps bin.
