Dexcom GMI help?

My Dexcom G6 reports my GMI (Glucose Management Indicator, which is their eA1C) at 5.8% (~45). However, it reports my average blood glucose at 103mg/dL (~5.5mmol/L). Do any CGM users have insight into this? I would predict my A1C to be 5.2% (~35) in this scenario.

Note: My actual A1C in Nov was 6.0%, so in that sense, the Dexcome is pretty close. But my average glucose is way lower.

I have called Dexcom support line but keep missing their open hours.

Comparative a1c numbers are measured in mili mol per mol (mmol/mol) so don't confuse these units with mli mol per litre (mmol/L) which is used for finger pricks.

Well, thanks for trying, but I still don't have my answer. I really doubt this is a unit issue, but if it is, I need more explanation to understand. I'm in the U.S., so my meter uses % for A1C and it uses mg/dL for glucose. I was just trying to give you all here the proper British values so you could help me with my question - sounds like I messed up with the units I provided you for A1C.

My GMI says 5.8%, and 103 mg/dL average blood glucose. That is not a match! It should be more like 120mg/dL. I know that their algorithm for GMI is not supposed to be a perfect match for A1C, but that is a big difference!

Oh, well. I will call Dexcom customer service after the holidays and do some learning. :-)
