Dexcom iOS news

By "us" do you mean the UK? If so, that is good news.

I've been using the Sugarmate app to display the readings on my watch, which works pretty well. I am still looking forward to trying out Dexcom's app when released, though. I heard that the Dexcom complication only updates every 15 minutes (rather than with each reading) but I am not sure how true that is!

Sorry yes the UK. I am using the sugermate which is good but am also looking forward to the dexcom app as hopefully won't need data like the sugermate app. I haven't hear about the update times, if it is that in the USA at the moment maybe they will change that with the UK version too?

The update time on the Watch App is driven by the Apple Watch itself not the app. Apple have a limit of one update every 15 mins on all Complications except calendar events, so it can't update more frequently, even if it wanted to.

NOT, THIS IS WRONG. US version of apple watch complication updates every reading, it shows only actual BG. I use it right now. Probably, it's because US version of dexcom app works like apple system app, for example you can not mute it with any phone settings. In addition, it never quits at night and almost never loses signal without reason.

That must be the latest version of the app then. The last time I looked at this, it was 15 mins (and as I understand it there are a lot of peed of people about the current app....)

Investigated it more thoroughly. Actually there is about 5 min delay between iphone dexcom app and watch complication.
