What is the icon besides the words "Insulin Does Log" it appears to be NFC or wifi or bluetooth, but, for what?
And how to use or activate.
Would love Novopen 6 compatible.

pretty sure thats for the likes of smart pens like the nova pen echo plus they record the dose info for you. nothing you can't record yourself. lot of apps have ability to record doses within notes, librelink, dexcom, mysugr where you can manually insert the injection data, the pen would only save a few seconds,. dont think there is any other advantages except know that the nova echo plus and a couple of other pens can do 0.5 incriments which should allow a little better control. theres likely regular non smart pens which will allow half dose incriments as well.. if your pen is smart, you just need pair the nfc. scan the pen against reader. and it will insert the doses you administered for you.

This thread is weird. I only noticed the icon yesterday and was going to ask the same question.

If you press the icon it lights up momentarily. I haven’t tried holding my pen anywhere, just in case it tries to download ALL the data on the pen, duplicating hundreds of entries. However I would like to know what and how!
